Below you can find all updates and new features added for Installer. If there is a new version, you should see it in your CRM on the Installer Notification icon.

2026
- Added Support for the new licensing system.
- Improved license validation compatibility with the latest licensing changes.
- Fixed issues that could occur during the uninstall process.
- Improved extension management stability.
- Added small design and usability improvements.
- Included minor internal fixes and code optimizations.
Uninstall fixes
- This version fixes problems that could appear when uninstalling extensions.
- The uninstall process is now more stable and should work more reliably across supported environments.
Other improvements
- Several smaller changes were added to improve the overall user experience, extension handling and long term stability of the Installer.
License Validation Simplified
We simplified the license validation process to make activation faster and easier.
- Removed the organization dependency during license validation.
- Removed the login requirement from the license activation process.
- License validation is now handled only through the Activate License Key button.
- Simplified the activation flow for a cleaner user experience.
UI Simplification
We updated the layout to make the interface cleaner and easier to use.
- Removed tabs from the license screen.
- Unified the design into a single simplified layout.
- Improved the overall visual consistency of the page.
- Reduced unnecessary steps and interface complexity.

- Added System Requirements now checks the URL for “/”.
- Improved background for Installer notifications.

2024
- Resolved compatibility issues with Vtiger 8.3 version.
- Adjusted PHP requirements php_versions for Vtiger 8.2.
- Adjusted and improved internal licensing system.
- Faster validation and update information times.
- If you do not see any modules in the Installer, click on Update Information, make sure the license is visible and validated, or validate it again.
- Added the utf8mb4 character set to System Requirements as recommended or supported value.
- Added a System Requirements pop up window shown when the system parameters do not meet recommended values.
- Adjusted System Requirements where PHP versions 5.6, 7 and 7.0 are not supported anymore and we advise updating to higher versions.
- Added PHP requirements 8.1 and 8.2 for Vtiger 8.1 to the System Requirements of the Installer.
- Added removal of comma from control of SQL Mode in System Requirements.

- Added option to Renew license or convert Trial license to Paid license via Installer buttons.
