AI Extension for Vtiger CRM

The Vtiger AI Extension by IT-Solutions4You adds AI capabilities to Vtiger CRM Open Source. It helps users find CRM information, draft content and prepare supported CRM actions for review and confirmation.

The three levels are AI Chat, AI Assistant and AI Agent. AI Chat and AI Assistant are available now. AI Agent is in development.

AI Chat and AI Assistant are released and available for purchase with monthly or yearly billing. AI Assistant includes AI Chat at no additional charge.

AI Agent is currently in development and is not available for purchase. Its planned automation capabilities are not yet released.

• AI Chat: the base AI extension that provides chat, conversation history, CRM searches, content drafting and supported record actions with user confirmation.
• AI Assistant: adds reusable assistants for specific CRM modules. Each assistant can have its own instructions, model, response language, output style and permitted data scope. AI Chat is included.
• AI Agent: is being developed for automated workflows, follow up automation, pipeline monitoring and processes involving multiple steps.

Available actions depend on installed modules, licenses, configuration and CRM permissions.

The Vtiger AI Extension supports Vtiger CRM Open Source 7.4, 7.5 and 8.x. The minimum supported version is Vtiger 7.4.

No. AI Assistant automatically includes AI Chat at no additional charge. AI Chat, also referred to as AI Chat Bot, is the base extension required for higher AI levels to work.

When you purchase a higher AI level, the lower levels are included in that subscription. You do not need to purchase an additional AI Chat subscription.

For example, AI Assistant costs €29 per month or €290 per year, with AI Chat already included in that price.

Yes. AI Chat must be installed and enabled together with AI Assistant. The base AI extension provides the chat interface, connection to the AI service and processing of requests. AI Assistant stores the reusable assistant configurations.

AI Chat is included in your AI Assistant purchase. Both extensions must be installed and activated, but there is no separate charge for the included AI Chat level.

Pricing depends on the selected AI level and billing period:

• AI Chat: €9 per month or €89 per year. Available now.
• AI Assistant: €29 per month or €290 per year. Includes AI Chat at no additional charge. Available now.
• AI Agent: planned pricing is €39 per month or €390 per year, including the lower AI levels. In development and not available for purchase.

You pay for your selected AI level. The subscription prices of the included lower levels are not added on top. Yearly prices represent the full annual subscription price.

Yes. AI Chat and AI Assistant offer both monthly and yearly subscriptions. Select your preferred billing period in the pricing table before clicking Buy now.

Compared with twelve monthly payments, yearly billing saves €19 for AI Chat and €58 for AI Assistant. AI Chat is included with AI Assistant under either billing option.

AI can prepare supported record creations and updates for your review and confirmation. Generating a response or opening an action preview does not save changes to CRM.

Review the proposed values and affected records, then confirm creation or apply the edit. Available actions depend on installed modules, licenses and your CRM permissions.

AI Agent is being developed for automated workflows. Those capabilities are not yet released.

AI Assistant lets you configure reusable assistants for specific CRM modules. Define their instructions, AI model, response language, output style, allowed fields and related data.

Users select a configured assistant in the included AI Chat extension to request customer overviews, record summaries, email drafts or supported CRM actions. Record creation and updates require user confirmation.

Supported calendar creation covers meetings and calls, not calendar tasks.

No. Generating email text or a comment does not automatically send or publish it. Review the generated content before using the available action to continue.

The email action opens the composer through ITS4YouEmails, which must be available and configured for sending. Check recipients and content, then complete sending in the email window.

For comments, review the draft and use the available action to insert or save it.

Yes. An external AI service processes your request and the CRM context provided with it. How current record data is shared depends on whether you use a standalone model or a configured assistant.

In regular chat with a standalone model, requests that need current record values display those fields for your approval. Configured assistants use their permitted source and related data automatically, without that separate confirmation. CRM user permissions still apply.

Dedicated email and comment features use their own flows. Data retention and storage depend on the AI provider and its applicable settings and terms.

AI Agent is currently in development. The current conservative release estimate is Q1 2027. This is an estimate, not a confirmed release date.

Planned capabilities include automated workflow creation, smart follow up automation, pipeline monitoring, risk alerts and processes involving multiple steps. Final availability and scope will be confirmed at release.

No. The Vtiger AI Extension is an independent extension developed by IT-Solutions4You for Vtiger CRM Open Source. It is not an official Vtiger Inc. product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Vtiger Inc.
