Vtiger CRM 8.0.0 has been released
Dear community,
according to the official announcement new version Vtiger 8.0.0 of a very popular CRM Open Source has been released.
This major release provides stable support for the PHP 8.x (latest PHP 8.2) MySQL 8.x and Maria DB 10.x. and others listed below:
- Added Composer support for PHP server dependency
- Upgraded libraries to achieve better security compliance
- Maintenance fixes and MRs
Since this version of Vtiger was released without any testing processes and very quickly, we were not able to react in time and thus it will take longer to adapt our extensions to this version.
For the moment, we do NOT recommend migrating to Vtiger 8.0 or installing our extensions on this version.
Of course, we will start working on compatibility in the near future and gradually our extension will be compatible with this version as well.
In the post below you will find an Extensions list for supported modules which we will update frequently during upcoming weeks.

Q: What about your extensions? Can I run them on Vtiger 8.0 now?
A: Our extensions will be fully compatible in 2-3 months from date 4 September 2023, we will release extension in this period of time.
(In the following weeks, we will work on compatibility and release extensions gradually, but we cannot guarantee which extension will be released exactly at what time)
Q: How I know that the extensions I have installed will be compatible with Vtiger 8.0?
A: Our modules will be available for installation/update in the Installer. The changelog before installation will show you the info.
